Old Timers Take Pioneer To Grave
Body of Timothy Duffy Laid in Last Resting Place at Virginia City
Virginia City, April 26.- The funeral of the late Timothy Duffy took place
Saturday from St. Mary’s church, where mass was celebrated for the repose of his
soul by Reverend Father Murphy.  The pall-bears were George Dewar, Richard
Tobin, Patrick Brennan, James Hennessey, Eugene Sullivan and Thomas Blake.  With
a number of old-time friend, they escorted the remains to their last resting
place in St. Mary’s cemetery.
