Reno Evening Gazette October 29, 1887
Johnny Foster, whose boyhood was spent in Virginia, died last week in Chihuahua
of fever.  Mr. Foster was until recently connected with Candelaria mines, upon
the closing of which he went to Mexico.  Deceased was about 35 years of age, and
was greatly respected by all who knew him.
