Aged Inmate of Asylum Is Dead

After spending a third of a century in the state asylum for the insane, Mrs.
Mary Gibson of Gold Hill died yesterday.

She was the oldest inmate of the asylum, in point of term of incarceration,
although there were older inmates in point of years.

For a long time her condition has been rendered most serious by nervous trouble,
in conjunction with acute dyspepsia.

The remains where shipped to Gold Hill yesterday and the funeral took place
there today.
