Another of the “Old Boys” Gone
Dr. Holmes, the well-known Virginia dentist, died Monday at the German hospital,
San Francisco.  Dr. Holmes was an old Pacific coast pioneer, and one of the
first who came to this state.  He was 55 years of age.  Dr. Holmes was a
prominent Odd Fellow and member of the order of Knights of Pythias.
