Hopkins, a native of Wales, forty years of age, died in Gold Hill yesterday morning from the effects of a heavy dose of creosote. The Enterprise says he took the drug some five weeks ago to kill a tapeworm, the taking of such medicine for that purpose being an experiment of his own invention. The creosote so influenced the coating of his stomach that he could retain no food, and in consequence finally died.
