Death of a Former Renoite
The Hailey Miner of the 6th says: “M. H. Huffaker, a lawyer formerly of Virginia
City, Nevada, died yesterday at the hospital, of epilepsy.  He had led a very
intemperate life for the past few years, and while in this country was
constantly under the influence of intoxicants.  He went to the hospital some
time ago, suffering from an attack of epilepsy, and as a matter of course his
allowance of liquor was cut off.  Consequently he did not live long.  He was
buried this afternoon within the hospital grounds.”
