Fatal Coasting Accident

Last Friday afternoon the 5-year-old son of T. C. Johns, living between the
Julia and Chollar mines, Virginia City, was fatally injured while coasting by
being thrown from his sled.  His head struck a rock, which crushed the back part
of his skull.
