K. Kelly died in the Storey County Hospital last Monday. He was a Mexican Veteran, and formerly resided at Oroville, California, and was well known in many other places in that State. He had resided on the Comstock for many years. He was known as “Noisy Kelly,” for the reason that he was one of the quietest men in the world. He was never known to speak above his breath, and half a dozen sentences per day was average work for him in the talking line. He was a member of the Pacific Coast Pioneers, and a man highly esteemed by all who knew him.
