Death of Patrick Korvin
Patrick Kirvin, one of the best known Superintendents and mining men on the
coast, died at San Jose, Cal., last Tuesday evening.  He resided for years on
the Comstock and was Superintendent of a number of prominent mines there at the
time of his death.  He had been ill for some time but at last accounts was
improving, and strong hopes were entertained for his recovery.
He leaves a large estate which will doubtless go to his wife and son.
