A Sudden Death

John Shepar proprietor of a saloon on the Divide between Virginia City and Gold
Hill, died very suddenly yesterday afternoon, from the bursting of a blood
vessel.  Deceased was a native of Pennsylvania, 47 years old, and had lived on
the Comstock for 25 years.
