Ordered Her Own Coffin Miss Addie Smith, who died in Virginia City on the 6th inst., was a sister-in-law of Colonel F. C. Lord. She had been an invalid for some time, and realizing that death was near gave directions for the coffin for the burial of her remains with perfect composure, directing that it be of certain shape and lined on the sides with black cloth and white satin on the bottom. Everything was provided according to her wishes and yesterday she was buried in the coffin of her own selection.
