The Enterprise contains the following: Last evening, while at his residence, he went out to split up some kindling wood. After working a short time, he came into the house complaining of a great pain about the heart. Dr. Conn was sent for, and on his arrival saw that there was no hope. His patient was then dying, and lived but a few minutes. Deceased was a native of Cologne, Prussia, and was fifty-seven years of age. He came to the United States forty years ago, and had resided on the Comstock for over twenty years. He leaves a wife in this city, but no children. Except his wife, he left no relatives in this country. He was a member of Silver Star Lodge, No. 5, F. & A. M., and also of the Royal Arch Chapter. His funeral will take place tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at 2 o’clock.
