Photo taken of Emma Simpson Bewick (1871-1949), raised in Gold Hill, Storey
County, Nevada by parents George Bewick and Jane Young Bewick. Photo taken in
Virginia City per photographer's marking (exact date unknown) - Beals
Photography Virginia City, Nevada.

Additional Comments:
Emma's parents were married in Gold Hill, Nevada in 1870. Both died and were
buried in Gold Hill.  Emma's two younger siblings, William Young Bewick and
Margaret Weir Bewick were both born in Gold Hill where their father was a miner
and a Constable.  Emma married Joseph Lincoln Hague in 1891 and they had three
children, Jean, Marian and Leland.
