                             Theater.  Likeable, given to drink.

GALLIGAN, Michael            Died, 4 Apr 1876, Gold Hill
                             Died at O’Farrell’s Boarding House.  Heart.  Age 27 yrs

GLISENAN, Joseph             Died, 17 Aug 1874                (Pioche Daily Record)
                             Age 26.  Died of mysterious injuries.  Resided at Crown Point
                             Ravine, Gold Hill.  Native of Billywood, Ireland.

GOETZ, Child                 Died, 31 May 1873, Gold Hill     (Pioche Daily Record)
                             Infant daughter of Ambrose GOETZ.

GUNN, James William          Died, 12 Sep 1874, Lower Gold Hi(Pioche Daily Record)
                             Typhoid fever.  Native of Nova Scotia.  Night foreman of Justice Mine.

HALL, Louis                  Died, 6 Jan 1876, not specified  (Pioche Daily Record)
                             Suicide.  He died from Poison.  He was a Barber in Gold Hill.

HILL, James                  Died, 28 Dec 1876, Gold Hill    (Pioche Daily Record)
                             Mine accident.  Left wife and 6 children .  The family was left destitute.

KELLY, D.                    Died, 28 Jul 1876, Gold Hill
                             He was overcome by gas in the Bullion Mine and fell down a shaft.

KOHLER, Sarah Louise         Died, 15 May 1873, Gold Hill    (Pioche Daily Record)
                             Age 4 yrs.  Daughter of Charles H. KOHLER.

LASCELLE, Francis            Died, 7 Aug 1876, Gold Hill     (Pioche Daily Record)
                             He fell down the shaft at the Belcher Mine.

LEWIS, William               Died, Dec 1876, Gold Hill        (Pioche Daily Record)
                             Shot by Robinson, who said “I’m a Hays Man.  Some one said he’s
                             a Tolden Man, at which time he shot Lewis in the bowels.

O’GARA, Thomas               Died, 18 Sep 1873, Gold Hill    [No newspaper source noted./ss]
                             Broke his neck.  Age 32.  2 brothers at Gold Hill.
                              (There are O’Gara’s buried at Empire City.  Those at Empire City
                             Cemetery are related to S. E. Jones.)

                             Mine fire victim, age 25 yrs.  Native of Cornwall.

SCOTT, William A.            Died, 3 Jul 1876, Gold Hill     (Pioche Daily Record)
                             He was the chief timberman, struck on the head by a large bucket.
                              He fell 260 feet.

SILVA, Manuel                Died 17/18/ Jun 1874, Gold Hill  (Pioche Daily Record)
                             He died from injureids received in blast at the Belcher mine.
                             Native of Portugal.   [Note:  On present Gold Hill
                             Cemetery list as W. F. SILVEIRA/ss]

SLATTERY, John               Died, 10 Oct 1873, Gold Hill    (Pioche Daily Record)
                             Age 42 yrs.  Native of Ireland.   [Note:  A second item notes he
                              died at Virginia City.  Died from injuries in falling in the Crown
                             Point Mine.  Wife lived at Junction City, California.

                             Typhoid.  Age 25 yrs

WEBB, Child                  Died, 4 Nov 1874, Gold Hill-V.C.(Pioche Daily Record)
                             Age 2 1/2 .  Daughter of W. T. WEBB.

WOODS, [no first name given] Died, 31 Jan 1874, Gold Hill    (Pioche Daily Record)
                             He was struck by giraffe car, at the Belcher Mine.  He was age 35.
