Daily Nevada State Journal June 4, 1882
A Wedding
Captain John Kelly and Miss Katie Mackay, daughter of A. F. Mackay, were married
in Virginia City yesterday, and were passengers for the Bay last night.  The
Captain gave the bride $50,000 in U.S. bonds, in addition to himself, as a
bridal present.  The Journal wishes the newly married pair a long and pleasant
season of martial [sic] relations
