                             Derby

A station on the S P Ry, in the extreme southern part of Washoe County, 
26 miles from Reno, the county seat, and banking town, and 40 miles 
northeast of Carson City. The Truckee River at this point furnishes 
power for a stamp mill. Telephone connection with Reno, Wadsworth and
other points.
