                             Gold Hill

A mining camp located on the Virginia & Truckee Railroad in the southern part 
of Washoe County, 2 miles from Virginia City, the county seat and banking point, 
and 21 miles by rail from Carson City. Has a Catholic Church, 2 daily newspapers,
the Morning Enterprise and Evening Chronicle, published in Virginia City. Has
long distance telephone to all places on Pacific Coast. Daily stage to Silver
City, Fare 25c. Exp Wells, Fargo & Co.
