W. Adams, who was found this morning lying on the railroad track at bridge 26 above Verdi. He had been run over by the train and his legs and body badly crushed. He was taken to the County Hospital, where he died this afternoon. Adams was a native of Lynn, Massachusetts, and has been working in Truckee as a carpenter. A friend who knew him in Truckee says that he should have had some money on his person. None was found. It is supposed that Adams was riding on the brake beam and fell off.
