Marshal Ash’s Funeral
The funeral services of the late Augustas Ash were held at Odd Fellows’ hall
Wednesday afternoon and largely attended.  The remains were inclosed in a
handsome casket, which was covered with beautiful floral decorations.  The
Chronicle says the grief of his wife and children when they looked at their
deceased husband and father for the last time was very affecting.  A large
number of carriages followed the hearse to the grave.
