The Funeral
Judge Bowker's funeral Sunday was largely attended.  The interment was attended
by the members of both lodges of Odd Fellows.  Past G. M. Atkins, G. M. Smith,
S. Secy. Hill, - Verdenal, and other prominent men of the order from Virginia. 
A funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Mr. McKelvey at the Methodist church.  The
procession then followed the remains to the Odd Fellow's cemetry [sic], where
they were buried.
