Bill Canady



Bill Ray Canady, age 73, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Northern Nevada Medical Center.

Bill is survived by [omitted].   Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ruby Canady; brothers, Louis (Bud) and Fred Canady; sister June Toles; son Michael; and daughter Candice.

Bill retired from Sierra Pacific Power Co. in 1989 after 38 years of service.  He was a paratrooper in the Army in World War 11.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Walton’s Funeral Home, 1745 Sullivan Lane, Sparks.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s honor to the Sparks Heritage Museum, 820 Victorian Ave., Sparks, NV 89431 or a charity of your choice.
