Davis, aged about sixty years, according to undertakers, was found dead in his cabin at Coney Island early this morning. Death is said to have been caused by pneumonia. An inquest will be held before Justice J.F. Cunningham, ex-officio coroner of Sparks at ten o'clock tomorrow morning. With no known relatives, according to Sparks officials and undertakers, Davis has lived alone in his Coney Island cabin for years. He was last known to have been seen last Saturday night. He was found this morning by a man who went to his cabin to see him, who saw the corpse through the window. Justice Cunningham said he did not know the name of the man who found the dead man. Davis is said to have been the owner of some property in the Coney Island district. Among his personal belongings was found evidence he had been a member of Shenandoah, Penn., I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 591. No funeral arrangements have been announced. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nvfiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
