Reno Evening Gazette May 4, 1882
Dawson-In Reno, May 3, Mrs. Anna Dawson, a native of Vermont, aged 76 years and
14 days.
Funeral from the residence of Dr. H. H. Hogan, to-morrow at 10 o’clock P.M. 
Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend.

The End of a Useful Life
Mrs. Anna Dawson, mother of Dr. Alson and Asa Dawson, died last evening at the
ripe old age of 76 years.  She had been in poor health for some months’ still,
her death was very sudden and unexpected.  She was up and about the house the
day before.  Last evening, while setting in her chair, she quietly passed away.
 The funeral will take place to-morrow at 1 o’clock P.M. from the residence of
Dr. H. H. Hogan, on Lake street.  Mrs. Dawson was a native of Vermont.
