Died of His Injuries
D. J. Doyle, the brakeman who had this leg cut off near Wadsworth night before
last, rallied, after being taken to the hospital yesterday.  The young man
favored a speedy amputation of the limb.  The operation was performed, but it
was found that the leg was bruised or crushed nearly to the trunk.  The shock
proved too severe and the young man died yesterday afternoon shortly after the
operation.
