Duncan, a former Southern Pacific railroad man to the hospital. It was found that he was dead. Duncan was sitting in a chair in the hall of the hotel and died quietly, presumably from heart failure. The deceased had lately been employed at Sparks by the company, but recently has been ill. He was a brother of George A. Duncan, at one time an officer of the Reno police department. A sister, Mrs. James H. Higgins, is the wife of a prominent rancher near Reno. The remains are now held at the Perkins-Gulling undertaking parlors and burial arrangements await word from George Duncan, now in Sacramento.
