Business Man Passes Away
John Etcheverry Member of Basque Colony, Is Called By Death
John Etcheverry, a business man of this city, died yesterday after a brief
illness.  He had resided here a number of years and was prominent member of the
Basque colony.
The funeral will take place tomorrow morning from the St. Thomas Aquinas
Catholic church, Rev. Father Tubman officiating.  The interment will be in the
Catholic cemetery.
The deceased leaves a widow and three children in Reno, a brother in
Bakersfield, Cal., four sisters in South America and two sisters and a brother
in France.  He was a native of France and was 34 years old, having come to this
country when a boy.  He resided for more than a decade in this city and was
highly respected.  The Royal Arch, to which organization he belonged, will
attend the funeral in a body.
