Pioneer Woman Answers Call
Mrs. John Ferretti Succumbs to an Attack of Pneumonia
Mrs. Mary Ferretti, a pioneer resident of Reno, Carson and Virginia City, having
resided in Nevada for nearly thirty years, died yesterday afternoon at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. W.L. Semenza, on Vine street, Mrs. Ferretti last fall had
the misfortune to receive a serious fall that resulted in a fractured arm and
necessitated her confinement to her home for a number of months.  Recently she
contracted a severe cold that turned into pneumonia.
The deceased is survived by her husband, John Ferretti, and four daughters, Mrs.
W.L. Semenza, Mrs. J.L. Semenza, and Miss Mary and Matilda Ferretti.  She was
aged 65 years and a native of Italy.  The funeral will be held Sunday, the exact
hour to be announced later.
