J. Flint, died last evening from a combination of scarlet fever and diphtheria. Reno Evening Gazette October 25, 1882 Gone to Join the Angels Little Roy, the 5-year-old son of L. J. and Elizabeth Flint, died last evening about 10 o’clock. The little fellow had been sick eight or 10 days with scarlet fever and diphtheria, the cause of his death. The loss of a little one seems unbearable, and the anguish of parents cannot be described. No word of tongue or pen can afford any consolation. Time can do but little to heal the lacerated hearts of those whom death has robbed of their all. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Flint deeply sympathize with them in their great affliction, but sympathy at such a time offers no comfort. Little Roy will be buried to-morrow at 2 o’clock, from the family residence, corner of Lake and Second streets.
