Reno Evening Gazette September 24, 1886
Peter Frank came to Reno from Truckee a week ago, and was employed on some land
he bought from Ed. Bates.  Thursday he came to town and put up at Campbell’s
hotel.  He was sick and called Doctors Hogan and Dawson in but last night he
died.  His trouble was pneumonia, complicated with heart disease.  Mr. Frank has
lived at Martis Creek near Truckee over 20 years.

Frank-In Reno, Nevada, September 23, 1886, Peter Frank, a native of
Pennsylvania, aged about 60 years.
