DEATH TAKES PROMINENT CITIZEN OF NEVADA

 

Alfred Warren HOLMES, one of the most prominent men of the state, and ever 

since 1889 a resident of Reno, died in that city Saturday evening, March 15, 

1919, of pneumonia.

 

Mr. HOLMES was a native of Canada and 55 years of age.  A widow, Mrs. Emma B. 

HOLMES of Reno and two grown daughters, Mrs. Emanae VENGER of Freeport, Cal. 

and Sadie HOLMES of LaJolla, Cal. survive him.
