Malone Walter L. Malone, Reno druggist and formerly of Tonopah, who died Tuesday night in his store in Commercial Row, was laid at rest this afternoon in Odd Fellows' cemetery. The impressive funeral services of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks were held at the Elks' Home, the Rev. Brewster Adams, chaplain of the order, and S.R. Tippet, exalted ruler, officiating. Mark Bradshaw, Tonopah mining man, brother-in-law, and Mrs. James Nesbit, a sister, arrived from Tonopah last night and attended the funeral with the widow. Pall bearers were: Milton Frank, Alex McIntyre, C.W. Patchen, Claud Damon, Rex O. Crider and E.C. Smith. Drug stores of Reno were closed from 1:30 until 3:30 out of respect to the memory of the deceased. Music was furnished during the services by a male quartet consisting of Alfred Galley, Lawrence Layman, Donald Curry and Lehman Ferris, Ernest Corris acting as accompanist.
