Former Rancher of Nevada Dies

  Edward Wills, former prosperous rancher of the Truckee meadows, but for 

twelves years a resident of Oakland, died in that city yesterday.  Word of his 

death was received here last night.  The body is to be brought to Reno for 

burial and will arrive Saturday accompanied by Mrs. Wills and daughter.  The 

funeral will probably be held Sunday.

  Mr. Wills was a resident of Nevada for many years and owned two ranches in 

the Truckee meadows, one of which was bought by realty dealers of Sparks 

during the Sparks boom and other was purchased a little later by Nelson & 

Block.  Following the sale of his second ranch he moved with his family to 

Oakland, where he made his home.

  Mr. Wills was a member of Amity lodge no. 8, K. of P., and Reno lodge no. 

14, I.O.O.F.
