Friedlander- In Reno, April 17, 1880, Mrs. Rachel Friedlander, aged 28 years, 

a native of Alsace



  The funeral of Mrs. Friedlander yesterday afternoon was conducted with 

Hebrew rites, the Rev. Dr. Prescott officiating.  It was the first funeral of 

a Jewish resident ever held in the place.
