Sudden Death

  Davie Mitchell died this morning at ten minutes before two, at the Pyramid 

House.  He rode Cousin Vic at the State Fair and at the Greenville Fair.  On 

Thursday he was exercising Vic when the horse fell with him.  Davies rolled 

off him easily, and no one thought he was hurt at all, nor did he.  He 

developed strong symptoms of pneumonia afterwards and complained of his side.  

On the way here he got worse, and died this morning.  He was conscious to the 

last.  His mother lives in Carson.
