Death at the Hospital



  W.O. Winfrey, who was discharged from the State Insane Asylum last Friday 

afternoon, and committed to the County Hospital the same day, died at 10 

o'clock last night.  Mr. Winfrey was committed to the asylum from this county 

about three years ago.  He was a brother to J.P. Winfrey, of this town, and 

was about 48 years of age.  This man caused quite a controversy between the 

State and county officials the day he was committed, as to who should be at 

the expense of keeping him.
