Died.

Geer- At the Howard ranch, Steamboat valley, Washoe county, Nov., January 2, 

1883, Marion Geer, aged 79 years



  Father Geer was born in Mount Pleasant, Way a county, Pa.  In his childhood 

he emigrated to Western New York.  After arrived at manhood he moved into the 

woods of Michigan, where he spent the greater portion of his days.  For the 

last 10 years he has lived the greater part of the time with his daughters, 

Mrs. Howard and Mrs. White.  Hew was a prominent Methodist, and his funeral 

will take place from the Methodist Church, Reno, to-morrow (Thursday) at 1 

o'clock.  Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.
