Death of an Old Renoite in Fatherland

  News was received here yesterday of the deal of John Henry Schaeffer at 

Giesen, in Hesse-Darmstadt, on the 17th of Frebruary, at the age of 83 years.  

He was the father of Mrs. George Becker and Mrs. Joseph Frey.  He was a 

resident of Reno for six or seven years, leaving her about six years ago for 

Germany, where he has resided ever since.  Besides his two daughters here, he 

leaves a son in Paris, from whence the news of his death came.
