DEATH OF PROMINENT CITIZEN OF NEVADA

 

    Matthew KYLE, one of the best known citizens of Nevada, died Tuesday at his 

home in Reno.  The funeral services were held in Reno Friday by the Masonic 

Grand Lodge, of which Mr. KYLE was a Past Grand Master.

    Mr. KYLE has long been prominent in the life of the state having served in 

various political capacities for many years.  At the last city election of Reno 

he was elected a member of the city council.  He was one of the few honorary 

thirty-three degree Masons in Nevada.

    Mr. KYLE was a fine and lovable character and a man of great ability.  The 

state suffers a great loss in his death.
