DEATH OF MRS. SANFORD, WIFE OF RENO EDITOR



    Mrs. Graham SANFORD, wife of Graham SANFORD, manager of the Reno

Gazette, passed away last Monday after an illness that extended over a year.

The funeral was held from the family residence and the remains laid to rest

in the Masonic cemetery.

    During the past year, Mrs. SANFORD had undergone several operations and

although hopes for her recovery were held out, she was unable to regain her

strength.  She was a native of Indiana and came to Nevada with her husband

about sixteen years ago.  She had a wide circle of friends who learned of

her death with regret.  Besides her husband, Graham SANFORD, the deceased

leaves three children, Gertrude, John and Clark.
