Daily Nevada State Journal April 4, 1885
Hagerman-In Reno, April 3d, 1885, Catherine Welch, wife of J. C. Hagerman, aged
43 years, 3 months, and 9 days.

The funeral will take place from the Congregational Church at 2 p.m., Sunday. 
Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend.

Funeral Services

The funeral of the late Mrs. J. C. Hagerman yesterday, was attended by a large
concourse of friends or the family.  The services were impressively conducted by
the Rev. Mr. Spencer of the Congregational Church.  The funeral hymns were
faultlessly rendered by a choir composed of Prof. Alexander, George Lyman, Mrs.
G. B. Taylor, Mrs. C. C. Powning and the Misses Flora and Jessie Finlayson, Miss
Flora acting as organist.  H.P. Krause, C.A. Bragg, Hon. Jerry School, L. J.
Flint, William Webster and S. M. Jamison acted as pall bearers.
