Reno Evening Gazette June 12, 1882
Holde-On Sunday, June 11, in Reno, Thos. Holden, aged 54 years.
The funeral will take place from the Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoon, at 2
o’clock.  Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend.

Post Mortem
Dr. Waggoner, assisted by Dr. Lewis, made a post mortem examination of the body
of Thomas Holden this morning at 10 o’clock, and found he died of pacca
meningitis, or inflammation of the membranes of the brain.  Organic lesions were
diagnosed by Dr. Waggoner weeks ago.
