Johnson, a sister of Henry Orr and John Orr, old-time residents of Reno, died suddenly in the Methodist Episcopal Church yesterday morning. When she arrived at the church the first hymn was being sung, and as she entered her pew she bowed to several friends and then sat down. In a few moments she cried out, “I’m dying,” and then fell forward. It was believed that she had merely fainted and several assisted in carrying her to the class-room in the rear of the edifice. Dr. Dawson was summoned and pronounced her dead. It appears that Mrs. Johnson had a brother and sister, both of whom living until quite aged, died in a similar way. The remains were removed in a carriage to her late residence on Virginia street, near Fourth, and telegrams sent to her brother Thomas, who resides to Yreka, Cal., and William, who resides at Dillon, Montana. Both of the sons are expected to arrive tomorrow, when notice of the funeral will be given. The deceased was 68 years of age and a native of Guernsey county, Ohio.
