Former Reno Woman Dead
Miss Mary Kelly Passes Away in Butte Will Be Buried Here
Miss Mary Kelly, for many years a resident of this city, died on Saturday
evening at 5:20 p.m., at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Frank Smith, in Butte
City, Mont.. Miss Kelly was born in California 42 years ago, but the greater
part of her life was spent in Virginia City, and Reno, Nev., where she had many
friends.  After losing her father and mother, who died and were buried in Reno
in 1909, she took up her residence in Butte, Mont., with her only sister.
She was a patient sufferer from heart trouble, and it was hoped by her friends
that Montana’s climate would be beneficial to her.  The remains are being
prepared for shipment to Reno where it is expected the funeral will take place
Friday morning.
