Reno Evening Gazette May 16, 1882
Kennedy-Reno, May 16, Charley, the son of Joe and Emma Kennedy, aged two years.
Funeral to-morrow.

A Sad Case
Charley, the little two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kennedy, died this
morning of scarlet fever.  Only last Wednesday they lost their little daughter
Agnes, and to be called upon to give up another treasure so soon seems too much
for the family to bear.  Their cross is heavy indeed.  The funeral takes place
to-morrow at 2 o’clock.
