Laughton- At Laughton Springs, March 1, 1915, Sumner L., beloved husband of
Nancy Laughton, father of George L., of Santa Cruz, Cal., Mrs. Abbie Quinn,
Chas. S. Laughton and Mrs. Nancy Zaun of Reno, Mrs. Pearl Marrett of Ashland,
Ore., Asa Lee Laughton of Woodfords, Cal., Mrs. Ruby Thomas of Reno and Frank A.
Laughton of Bakersfield, Cal.  A native of Maine.  Aged 80 years, 21 days.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.  Remains at the parlors of The
Perkins-Gulling Co.


March 2, 1915
Laughton Funeral Set For Tomorrow
Funeral services for Summer Lee Laughton, the pioneer owner of Laughton’s
Springs, who died yesterday, will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o’clock at
Trinity Episcopal church.  Rev. Samuel Unsworth will officiate and interment
will be in Hillside Cemetery.
