Deceased was one of the well known men of the city and for many years was prominently identified with the lumbering interests in Nevada. For a long time he was connected with the Truckee Lumber company. He was a native of Maine and after coming to the west lived at Boca, California, for a number of years. The remains were taken to the parlors of the Perkins-Gulling company and it is probable that the funeral will be held from there tomorrow.
