A Deadly Week
The opening days of the week have carried death into many families, and
believers in superstition will augur evil throughout the balance of the week. 
The latest death is that of Leland Ross McAllister, the five month old son of
Mr. McAllister the short-hand reporter, who is now absent on a visit to
Downieville.  The funeral will take place from the residence next Friday, at 3
P.M.
