Daily Nevada State Journal December 29, 1887
Mrs. John McIntosh, nee Laura Caldwell, died yesterday morning after a brief
illness.  She has of late been troubled with stomach complaints, which produced
convulsions.  The young lady was very popular in Reno, and her untimely taking
off is a severe blow to her many friends.
