Reno Evening Gazette September 28, 1885
A Bereaved Family

After a severe illness of several weeks, Mrs., wife of G. W. Merchon, the night
policeman, died at her residence on the corner of Second and Lake streets, of
pneumonia, at 5 o’clock this morning.  Deceased leaves a husband, and a son and
daughter nearly grown.
