Death of A. G. Mershon
A. G. Mershon died this morning after a short illness, at the ripe old age of 82
years.  He was a native of Virginia and came to this coast some 20 years ago and
has resided here ever since.  He was the father of G. W. Mershon, and leaves an
aged widow to mourn his loss after half a century of married life.  The funeral
will take place to-morrow at 2 o’clock P.M. at the Baptist Church.
